Spending a summer in Denali National Park is truly a life altering experience. Many people come to work in Alaska for a summer and end up spending a lifetime.
McKinley RV is locally owned and operated by AK SOL LLC. This small Alaskan business is managed by three young (well kind of young) fellows who all first came to Denali initially as seasonal employees.
The three partners love the park and feel blessed to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on earth. They place a high value on hiring like-minded employees and strive to be the best employer in the area.
McKinley RV is a campground, grocery store, deli and gas station. Our mission is to be the best campground in Denali.

Life Living & Working at McKinley RV
McKinley RV is located in Healy 10 miles north of Denali National Park's entrance. We are one of the few independent operations left in the area. McKinley RV is surrounded by giant corporate hotels that bring hundreds of thousands of guests into the area.
McKinley RV and all the other area hotels hire thousands of people from around the world to come to Denali to work in their businesses. All local employers provide housing complexes for their employees. Life in Denali is a lot like going to summer camp when you were a kid. For 4 months you will work, live and play together with people from all around the world.
At McKinley RV we try to create a fun, casual atmosphere. Our employees are dressed in T-Shirts with the McKinley RV Logo and are permitted to wear khakis, shorts, skirts and sneakers. While our housing areas are 24-hour quite zones and no alcohol is allowed in any common areas or where it is visible, we have created a nice place for you to live.
Other Information
We have several housing options which all include 3 meals per day, 7 days per week. Our Room & Board options range between $12-$15 per day, depending on the unit, amenities and location. Housing without meals is not an option. If you find somewhere to live other than our housing complexes you may opt out of your Room and Board Contract at anytime. Unlike other area employers, our employees order their meals off our menu (some restrictions apply).
You will have a roommate and as you make friends you will be able to ask management to swap roommates. Please understand that you may have to take our company shuttle to and from work and meals and you will not be paid for travel time. The shuttle schedule may cause you to arrive at work an hour before the start of your shift so you have time to eat and vice-versa after your shift.
McKinley RV is a non-smoking work place. If you can't last a shift without a smoke please don't apply. Personal Cell Phone use and texting is not permitted at work. While casual dress is acceptable, we expect you to be clean and neat in appearance at work.
You will be required to provide your own transportation to Denali. Most people fly into Anchorage and spend the night in a Hostel. The next day they take a shuttle to Denali. If you are hired we will provide you with more information.
